How to use this hub

This hub teaches the Nextera products the way the work is actually learned: the domain first, then the software. Every product has the same four pages in the same order, so once you have worked through one product you know exactly where to look in the other seven.

Page What it answers Read it when
Overview What is this product, who is it for, what does it cover? You are deciding whether this is the right product for your question
Key concepts What does the standard, market practice or process actually require? Before your first configuration workshop, or when a term is unfamiliar
Getting started What do we need to decide, gather and agree before our first cycle? During implementation planning
Modules What is each part of the product for? When you know the domain and need to find the right place to work

SunSystems is an implementation service rather than a product, so its pages are named Engagement and Phases instead of Getting started and Modules.

Start with Key concepts, even if you are experienced

Section titled “Start with Key concepts, even if you are experienced”

The Key concepts pages are the most substantial pages here, and they are deliberately about the domain, not the product. A lease liability is measured the same way whether you use Nextera Accord or a spreadsheet; a facultative slip means the same thing to every broker.

That matters for two reasons:

  1. Most implementation delays come from unmade policy decisions, not from software. A team that has not settled its incremental borrowing rate methodology cannot be unblocked by any amount of product training.
  2. The concepts pages end with a table mapping each concept onto the module that owns it — which is the fastest route from “I know what I need to do” to “I know where to do it”.

How pages that are still being verified are marked

Section titled “How pages that are still being verified are marked”

Some sections describe things that can only be documented accurately by someone who has operated the live product — navigation paths, field names, import formats, role names. Rather than guessing at those and publishing instructions that might be wrong, this hub marks them:

Pages with an open notice also carry an SME badge in the sidebar. When the badge is gone, the page has been verified end to end.

You will never find an invented screenshot, menu name or button label on this site. If it is not documented, it is marked as not documented.

The hub is published in English, with Bahasa Indonesia available from the language picker in the header. Indonesian translations are being written; until a page is translated, the Indonesian version shows the English text with a notice saying so. The navigation and interface are already Indonesian.

Search covers every page and is available from the header, or by pressing /. It searches the language you are currently reading, so switch language first if you want Indonesian results.
